Director of Workforce and Organisational Development
Jane Royds, our Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, has moved to a part-time interim role supporting Liverpool Adult Acute and Specialist Providers (LAASP) and NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group (UHL Group) from 1 October 2025.
Jane originally joined The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in April 2025 in a joint appointment in addition to her role as Chief People Officer at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. With Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH) formally becoming part of UHL Group on 1 October, Jane has decided to step down from her role at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as well as her LHCH position.
Her new role is an interim position for three months. Jane will be supporting colleagues at UHL Group to deliver the LAASP Stronger Together Corporate Services programme.
We are pleased to announce that Andy Morris, our Deputy Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, has been appointed as Interim Director of Workforce and Organisational Development from 1 October 2025.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and have been impressed with the level of care and dedication to our patients. Thanks to everyone for their help and support over the last six months and I wish you all continued success.

Chief Nurse
Deputy Chief Nurse Lindsey Dawson has been appointed as Acting Chief Nurse from 1 October to cover a planned leave of absence by Chief Nurse Julie Gray.

I’m enormously grateful to Jane for her contribution to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre since stepping in to support us following Jayne Shaw’s retirement. She has been a fantastic colleague, and I am delighted we will continue working closely with her in her new role.
Andy and Lindsey will bring a huge amount to the executive team in their new roles, and I am very much looking forward to working with them.
